Elementary Core Program

HOPE Academy now offers expanded options for homeschooling or full educational support through core classes, tailored to each family’s unique needs. The elementary program includes two main tracks—Homeschool and Core—with small class sizes that promote hands-on, active learning and personalized instruction. This expansion aims to provide greater flexibility and reach more families seeking alternative education solutions.

Club Period

In 2018, the HOPE Academy Elementary Program introduced a Club Period, similar to the successful Access/Club Period in the Secondary program. Held after lunch, this time allows students to explore their interests through various clubs. Teachers gather student input to choose club topics, and two to three clubs run simultaneously, offering choices such as Geocaching, Gymnasium Games, Reading, Crafting, and Outside Exploration.

Field Trips

HOPE Academy values community and connection, offering a variety of field trips throughout the year. These include both educational, class-related trips—such as visits to Bent’s Fort, the History Colorado Museum, and Evergreen Homestead—and fun, family-oriented outings like planetarium tours, Anderson Farms visits, and movie nights. Families are encouraged to participate, and details will be shared as events approach.
