Google Classroom is a tool used by our Secondary Teachers to communicate with their students outside of the classroom.

Google Classroom has many applications that make communication between teachers and students easy and accessible.

  • Teachers can use Classroom to assign homework and send reminders to students.

  • Classroom can be used to start discussions with students or send announcements.

  • Parents and guardians can be included in the Classroom and be sent email updates on their students.

  • Teachers and students can upload their documents into Classroom for easy access.

Classroom is not a replacement for Infinite Campus Parent PortalClassroom is intended as a communication device between students, teachers, and parents. Not for submitting grades to students. Official grades will still be updated in Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

Students will use their student emails given to them by HOPE Academy. Steps for logging into Classroom are as follows:

  1. Go to gmail.com and type in your whole email address. i.e. jregier@hopemustangs.net.

  2. Students are given a generic password by the G Suite Administrator.

  3. In the top right corner is a small 3x3 grid, click on it.

  4. Scroll down until you find Classroom.

  5. Your teacher will have either invited you to the Classroom or given you a code.

  6. Join your Classroom and explore it.

Jewel Regier is the main G Suite Administrator and is in charge of resetting passwords, assigning email addresses to students, and any other questions that may result after working with Classroom.
