How to navigate this tremendous task!

Homeschooling is not for the faint-hearted – it is a huge commitment and a lot of work! HOPE Academy exists to assist families that are either reluctant to homeschool because of the thought of the task ahead or feel unprepared for the task. But I can personally tell you – “You can do it if you take it one step at a time or one year at a time (even for each of your children).” Additionally, it can be the best experience of your life, as well as for your children. I, too, was very timid about homeschooling initially, but I felt it was the best fit and option for my family when I began entering this educational option and community. I tried to prepare the best I could, and continued on that path each day, month, and year, and with each of my children.

It is with this thought that we have developed both the Parent University and Homeschooling mini-classes and informational resources to help new or continuing homeschooling parents have access to others that have walked this pathway, and can give you peace, advice, and assistance for many aspects of this educational decision. The following mini-classes will be offered this school year for this purpose:
